The style The paintings are abstract, characterized by strong combinations of colors and light flashes, which break forth from within them. They express the strong Israeli light, energy, movement, and sensation. The technique and material Many of the paintings are diptych and triptych. Each work of art presents its own unique palette. The movement on the painting surface results in from the wide dimensions and intense colorfulness. The artist uses a mixed technique and combines a collage of textures, photographs, Xerox prints, oil chalks, colored chalks, spray brush, acrylics and more. The uniqueness The uniqueness of the paintings is in the fact that they are creative, in their ability to "capture" the viewer - the paintings are, as aforementioned, abstract, yet every once and a while certain figures and images appear in them, which attract the viewers' eye and stimulate their imagination, so that they are invited to assign meaning to the figures. The viewers' interpretation derives, as will be further explained herein, from their respective inner world of experiences. The giving The artist believes that the complete work of art has a life of its own. Every painting consists of details from the artist's reservoir of feelings, memories, and experiences, according to time in which she had painted them. Yet with the last brush of paint the artist "liberates" the painting from her world and it passes to viewer's world of feelings, images, experiences, and memories. Zipi Landau's paintings have no titles, since she believes that every viewer sees and experiences something else while viewing, and accordingly assign the painting with a name of their own, from within their inner world. The painting changes according to the feelings of the viewer at a certain point in time, as well as according to its location and lighting. The aim What is the artist seeking to achieve? She seeks to fascinate the viewers with her paintings, gaining their attention, making them to thoroughly observe her painting and challenge them concerning their contents. The artist aspires to create, through the viewers, multiple layers and meanings for each and every work of art. |

הסגנון הציורים הם מופשטים, מאופיינים בשילובי צבע חזקים עם הבזקי אור, שמפציעים מתוכם. יש בהם ביטוי לאור ארצישראלי חזק, לאנרגיה, תנועה ורגשות. הטכניקה והחומר רבים מהציורים דיפטיכונים וטריפטיכונים. לכל יצירה סקאלת צבעים, שמיוחדת רק לה. התנועה במשטח הציור נוצרת מהמימדים הרחבים והצבעוניות העזה. האמנית משתמשת בטכניקה מעורבת, ומשלבת קולאז' של טקסטורות, צילומים, הדפסי זירוקס, גירי שמן, גירים צבעוניים, מכחול התזה, אקריליק ועוד. הייחוד ייחודם של הציורים שהם יוצרים, ביכולתם "לתפוס" את הצופה - הציורים כאמור מופשטים, אך מדי פעם צצים מתוכם צורות ודימויים, שמושכים את עין הצופה ומגרים את דמיונו - הוא מבקש למצוא פשר לצורות. את הפרשנות הוא דולה, כפי שיובהר להלן, מעולם החוויות הפנימי שלו. הנתינה האמנית מאמינה כי ליצירה המוגמרת יש חיים משלה. כל ציור מורכב מפרטים מתוך מאגר הרגשות, הזכרונות והחוויות של האמנית, בהתאם לזמן שבו ציירה אותו. אך עם משיכת המכחול האחרונה, האמנית "משחררת" את הציור מעולמה והוא עובר לעולם הרגשות, הדימויים, החוויות והזכרונות של הצופה. לציורים של ציפי לנדאו אין שם נושא, שכן לשיטתה כל צופה רואה וחווה משהו אחר תוך כדי ההתבוננות, ובהתאם לכך מעניק לציור שם משלו, מתוך עולמו הפנימי. הציור משתנה בהתאם לרגשות המתבונן בו בנקודת זמן כל שהיא וכן על פי מיקומו והתאורה שלו. היעד מה מעוניינת האמנית להשיג? היא מבקשת לרתק את הצופה אל ציוריה, לזכות בתשומת ליבו, לגרום לו להתעמק ממושכות ביצירות ולאתגר אותו באשר לתוכנן. שאיפתה של האמנית - ליצור, באמצעות הצופים, אינסוף רבדים ומשמעויות לכל יצירה ויצירה. |
